CENTER FOR VOLUNTEER AND NONPROFIT LEADERSHIP OF MARIN
 ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD MEMBERS AND OFFICERS FOR 2008-2009

San Rafael, CA - The Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership (Center) announced its new office bearers for 2008-2009. Ken Preston, Partner, Bregante +Company LLP has been elected President of the Board, with Debbie Levy, Executive Director and CEO of Lifehouse as Vice President. The Rev. Carol Hovis of Marin Interfaith Council and Stanley F. Green were elected Secretary and Treasurer respectively, with Paula Pilecki, Executive Director of Spectrum-Center for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Concerns as Past President.

Other members of the board include Edward Kaufman, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the North Bay, Joan Capurro, Bank of Marin, Larry Meredith, Marin County Dept. of Health and Human Services, Makini Hassan, Marin City Community Development Corporation and Bridgette Moran, Marin County Farmers Market Association. Charles Greene, Interim Executive Director at Centerforce will join the board in July.

Members leaving the board having completed their terms include Andrea Bizzell, Charlie Mead and Efren Carillo.
