Emerging Leaders Program

The Emerging Leaders Program addresses the core competencies needed to effectively manage organizations and complex programs as well as the leadership skills one needs to be successful within our quickly changing sector.

Board Development Series

The Board Development Series consists of three courses that provide current and future nonprofit Board Members with the training, tools and fundamentals required to be a productive and effective board member.

Peer Network Groups

Peer networking groups are convened by the Center to provide professionals in the nonprofit sector with opportunities for networking, peer support and professional growth. (Members Only)

Volunteer Management

Volunteers present both a great opportunity and sometimes a great challenge. The Center offers a variety of programs to help you manage your volunteers and build your volunteer program.

Conferences and Forums

The Center brings together experts and practitioners for learning and reflection by presenting the bi-annual Marin Nonprofit Conference and issue-based Forums.

Marin Leaders Institute

The Marin Leaders Institute is an innovative, intensive leadership development program designed for established nonprofit executive directors hailing from a wide range of fields and leaders of faith communities.

Peer Affinity Groups

Peer networking groups are convened by the Center to provide professionals in the nonprofit sector with opportunities for networking, peer support and professional growth. (Members Only)

Executive Directors Roundtable
This informal roundtable brings Executive Directors from a range of local nonprofits together to explore topics of interest and facilitate peer learning and support. Meetings feature facilitated conversations and short presentations on topics selected by the group. This group is limited to Executive Directors of Member agencies only. The group meets the 1st Thursday of each month except January (2nd Thursday), July (no meeting) and December (no meeting).

Volunteer Managers Affinity Group
This group of nonprofit professionals working to leverage volunteers in their organizations comes together to share ideas, provide support, and build collaborative efforts in the field of volunteerism.

Marin Development Professionals Roundtable
This Roundtable is a venue for development professionals to connect with peers for support, learning and networking. Facilitated discussions promote sharing challenges, solutions and opportunities in the development field. This group is limited to Development staff of Member agencies only. The group meets the 2nd Wednesday of March, June, September and December.

Nonprofits Consultants Network*
This roundtable aims to facilitate connections and referrals among local nonprofit consultants, build a professional learning community, and provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and information. *$5 for Non-Members. This group meets the 2nd Wednesday of each month except July (no meeting).
