New Workshop Scholarship Programs!
We are acutely aware of the negative impact that the economy has had on nonprofit financial and human resources. During this time, we want to continue to support organizations of all sizes. Therefore, the Center is launching two initiatives to designed to benefit small organizations: the Community Scholarship Program and the Volunteer Exchange Program. These programs may be used to attend our workshops for free or at discounted rates.
Through our Community Scholarship Program, we are offering 1/2 price discounts on workshops to organizations with a budget under $500,000. Through May 11th (the day before the Marin Human Race!), we will have 5 discounted seats per workshop to help you and your organization meet capacity building needs.
Community Scholarship Program requirements:
Must be a staff member of an organization with a budget under $500,000
We also have a Volunteer Exchange Program for our workshops, where individuals can volunteer to help with the logistics of the workshop for an hour and participate in the workshop for free. You get to help out with the set-up and in exchange, you get to sit-down in a workshop!
Volunteer Exchange Program Requirements:
Must help with pre and post logistical needs on the day of the workshop you plan to attend
One person can only volunteer for 2 workshops through June 30th, 2012
Both Programs are available on first-come, first-served basis.
Please contact Ami Ehrlich, Director of Programs aehrlich@cvnl.org 415.448-0320 for details and availability.
